The Post-Graduate Student Village (PGSV) is a haven for graduates. It is a senior residence which houses only Masters and Doctoral students.

We pride ourselves in our responsiveness to diversity. It is what makes us unique. Our students are from all corners of the world. At PGSV, networking platforms are created and promoted. Lifelong friendships are made and new perspectives are learned. Vigorous participation in all campus and residence activities is encouraged. These include the glamorous and vibrant opening function, campus life festival, social gatherings, sports activities, village socials, house meetings, intellectual conversations, debates, and the stylish and elegant closing function.

Mission

To create and foster a friendly, homely, peaceful environment enabling academic, personal and social growth and success.

Vision

Our driving ethos is deeply rooted in mutual respect, love, and excellence. We empower individuals who will relentlessly pursue the science of deepening, widening and lifting barriers to research and new knowledge development.

Values

We uphold the university values.

Facilities

PGSV has six “villages”. Each village houses twenty villagers. There are single, double, and triple sharing flats. For the sharing flats, each person has their own bedroom. The flatmates will share the kitchen, bathroom, and lounge. Each village has a village “chilling spot”, communal lounge with DSTV and laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers. Each flat has a four-plate stove, fridge and couches. We offer an outside shade parking and a limited open parking inside the village.
